Question: The installation is taking a long time.
Solution: The InvestmentPlan software should take no longer than a couple of minutes to install on a computer suitable to run Windows XP SP2, but if the prerequisites are not already on your computer, they will be installed from the CD, and these can take 10-15 minutes. Refer for prerequisites.
Question: The installation seems to be getting the files from the internet and not the CD.
Solution: All the files needed are on the CD, so disconnect your computer from the internet or disable the internet connections with the Control Panel options, then try the installation again.
Question: InvestmentPlan did not install after the prerequisites.
Solution: Re-run setup.exe from the CD, anything not already installed will install.
Question: When I insert the CD it does not start the installation automatically.
Solution: With Windows Explorer, select the CD folder (usually D: drive), then double click "setup.exe" application file.
Question: When InvestmentPlan starts up, I get the message that there is no license key.
Solution: The License Key and your Customer ID are emailed to the email address supplied by you on the Order form. If this email has not arrived please contact ISoftware sales.
